It started with a post.
In 2008, Kat Miller wrote her first loan. Before that first year closed, she had made Presidents Club. Eighteen years later she is still producing, and for most of those eighteen years she noticed the same thing: the rooms where careers in this industry get made were never built with women in mind.
Women in mortgage are excluded from key rooms, passed over for mentorship, isolated in their growth, and pushed to compete silently against each other instead of building together. Kat lived it as a working loan officer, and she got tired of it.
So she started where every real movement starts: grassroots. A post to other women in lending. No corporation behind it. No institution steering it. Just a producing loan officer inviting other women into the room she wished had existed when she started.
Eighteen years. Still in the game.
